I am Leonard Grobien. I was born in 1998 and when I grow up I want to be a filmmaker. It doesn't matter when that will be, or whether it's already the case. I was born with a genetic defect called brittle bone, I'm only one meter tall and I'm in a wheelchair. I don't know whether that had an influence on my dreams or whether it changes anything about the stories I want to tell. Maybe it does. Maybe I can use this somewhat “special perspective” for something big and create something that no one has ever seen before. Because that's what I want to achieve with every movie. Let's make the cinema screens of this world more colorful, deeper and more beautiful. Charlie Chaplin said: “We think to much and feel to little.” I think he was right.
I wouldn't be doing this if I didn't believe that movies change the world.
I am Victoria Czech. I’m a creative producer at Aura Film, but I’m also a director and drummer. I’ve never limited myself to just one field, and that’s exactly what I love about film and my job: I don’t have to. More than anything else, film gives me the opportunity to keep learning new things in all areas. With every shoot, I gain more understanding, and my horizons expand. If someone had told me back in school how many important connections, friendships, and ideas this work would bring me, I wouldn’t have believed them. My passion and drive have never been greater—to try new things, create something bigger, and dive full speed ahead into future projects.
